Most people have this perception of life in pre-industrial Europe as a bucolic existence. We assume there was plenty of high quality, organically grown food available.
The reality was the exact opposite.
In Europe's preindustrial and overwhelmingly agricultural society, people did not in general live long lives. While there were exceptions, by our standards, life expectancy was appallingly low for most and almost inconceivable to a modern audience living in an advanced industrial society where longevity is constantly being revised upwards. Europe's impoverished past came to an end in the nineteenth century with the advent of the agricultural and industrial revolutions. But before then, a great deal of suffering had taken place as Europe, as a whole, was plagued by a very high rate of infant mortality that significantly reduced, statistically, overall life expectancy. Clearly many of the sad deaths from the European past were tied to poor nutrition and the apparent lack of key vitamins, substances that modern researchers would consider as absolutely critical for proper cell development and amino-acid synthesis. In fact, it could probably be argued that Europe's preindustrial era was beset by a constant avitaminosis of some kind or another. More
I lived in rural Indonesia for 7 years where feral street dogs proliferate. Nobody feeds them so they are constantly battling with each other for food scraps from the garbage. These dogs are on the verge of starvation and desperate for food.
We had a goat and one day we had tethered him to a tree; a pack of street dogs came into our property and before I could scare them off they had torn him up so badly that we had to put the goat down.
It goes without saying that the street dogs do not receive veterinary care should they be injured or sicken. I never saw it happen, but I suspect the pack turns on weak members, killing and eating them. It truly is a dog eat dog, survival of the fittest world.
In the centuries before humans worked out how to feed 8+ billion using petro chemical inputs a great many humans would have been in the same situation as a 3rd world street dog. Half-starved most of the time with malnutrition weakening their immune systems and living in filthy hovels drinking polluted water would have made them susceptible to all manner of disease.
When we lived in Indonesia, we adopted a street dog pup. She was given the usual vaccines when she was rescued but over the course of the 4 years that we had her, we did not vaccinate her. She had interaction with street dogs sometimes getting into fights with them. When we left Indonesia, we brought her with us and were forced to vaccinate her. Over the past 8 years we have not vaccinated her nor has she been to the vet.
We take very good care of her feeding her high quality dog food and ensuring she gets plenty of exercise.
She has never been sick. Not once. The reason she does not resemble the dogs pictured above is no doubt primarily because she is well-nourished. She does not live in filth and she drinks clean water.
This ensures that she has a strong immune system that is able to defeat disease.
Connecting the dots and the conclusion I have reached is that vaccines are snake oil bullshit. They have nothing to do with ending disease and pandemics in human populations.
Did the U.S. Death Rate from Measles Decline by over 98% Before Introduction of a Measles Vaccine?
Vaccines are both useless, and dangerous, yet we’ve gone from injecting vaccines for a handful of diseases to endless jab-fuckery turning infants into pin cushions.
In an upcoming article I will explain why, despite overwhelming evidence that vaccines do not work and are in fact sickening the herd, the Men Who Run the World and their minions insist on maintaining this intensive vaccine schedule.
Nice post, eddy.
Now I see why you love Hoolio. Same breed of dog as in the picture?
