What the hell is happening in American aviation this week??

https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/watch-dramatic-footage-show-private-jet-crashing-northeast-philadelphia

No longer censoring vax injury discussions...

Operation High Anxiety?

What would be really cool is if they released JFK files that confirmed the Men Who Run the World had him killed... then admit the moon landings were a massive hoax....

Then organize more parades of leather clad men flashing their hairy ball sacks to children...

The barnyard animals will be begging to be exterminated!!!!

I bet these pilots are having medical issues and that's why they're crashing. Look at all the car accidents now being caused by the same thing. And the pilot crowd we all know are true believers.

The world runs on oil and nothing else. As Tommy Norris in Landman says, if we wanted to go full electric tomorrow, we don't have the infrastructure for it. We have an energy infrastructure based on oil that is over 130 years old.

In the old days of the Great Depression, money moved at a snails pace, even transactions on Wall Street had to be done manually. In Weimar Germany 1923, fiat Reichsmarcs still moved in wheelbarrows for the peasants and gold clinking on the pockets of the wealthy. Today, billions are transferred in milliseconds by computers and the internet….all essentially as electronic credit for supplies and transport, which when the debt cycle seizes up, means the trucks stop running and collapse happens much much faster. In short, people today are removed from the farm, have few practical skills like they 100 years ago and no reserves. A crash today could be far more abrupt and severe.

Could an AI driven attack cause a Cyber Polygon event? Its certainly in the realm of probable, especially as everyone has provided it access to their screens.

There's a big problem with coal as well. Once the coking coal for steel making runs out, we are done.

Aaaaand another one. United Airlines Houston to New York flight 1382 catches fire while approaching takeoff. Passengers and crew evacuated safely.

Option 3: Just launch the nukes.

There are no nukes. The uranium warheads got recycled as reactor fuel and the US can no longer produce enough tritium to keep them topped up. On top of that, the Minuteman missiles don't work any more.

Im sure we could borrow a few from Russia or Israel. It would only take a few.

Deutsche Bank has suffered a 92pc slump in its profits amid a major downturn in the German economy.

Germany’s largest lender on Thursday vowed to slash jobs after its profits attributable to shareholders dropped to €106m (£89m) in the final three months of 2024, down from €1.26bn in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Shares in the bank fell by as much as 6pc on the update.

The slump comes after Germany’s economy contract for a second year in a row in 2024. Higher energy prices as a result of the war in Ukraine have undermined the competitiveness of German industry at a time when the country’s car manufacturers are also facing intense competition from rivals in China.

Britain’s experiment in virtue-signalling to the world that we are leaders in net zero ambitions has been a risible farce.

It wasn't an experiment in virtue signalling. It was a we have absolutely no other options situation presented as virtue signalling.

Prediction : we won't need oil because the people are about to discover and open source zero point energy and as long as they don't try to patent any new devices, oil will soon become just a footnote in history of this planet. We are on the cusp of a new age on this planet and it is time to free mankind of the chains.

hilarious!

This reminds me of those fellas who insist that there is a nearly free - clean energy source... but that it is being kept under wraps....

The thing is ... can you imagine what would happen if there was a nearly free - clean energy source....

Everyone would be living in a mega mansion and we'd pave over the entire world within a decade....

I am entertained by your imagination though....

I can entertain too -- I am gonna pretend I am 7ft tall and am the centre for the LA Lakers.. I just got a contract for 50M per year... I am dating Ms Universe... stay tuned for more!!!!

Technological Superstitions by John Michael Greer. It was written over a decade ago and still pertinent today.

https://www.resilience.org/stories/2014-09-11/technological-superstitions/

Supposedly, Thorium is the next great energy source that will provide us with cheap energy. Well, probably not. This was written by a current Nuclear Engineer and he says it is more hype than reality.

https://whatisnuclear.com/thorium-myths.html

The real problem for the next great, cheap energy source is this. Will governments be able to generate revenue from it, like they do with the sale of oil? Nations that produce oil generate tax revenue for their governments both in the sale of that oil to other places and to its citizens. Those tax revenues help pay for many of those government entitlements and obligations that were promised to its citizens.

Without the sale of oil, countries go bankrupt and collapse. People never seem to realize how important oil is in the equation of revenue to governments.

I guess oil could be a meaningless footnote in the history of mankind, after mankind and its numbers go extinct. We’ve been at this game for at most 200 years. That’s nothing in the scheme of things.

Meanwhile energy is only 1/2 of the equation as maybe it allows you access to minerals, in the first place , but if you don’t have minerals or fertilizer to grow food then all the “free” energy in the world does you no good. Yeah, maybe you can get fresh water from reverse osmosis using a lot of electricity or even extracting uranium from saltwater, but never in the scale and timeline required. I’ve been waiting all my life for fusion to ramp up. Promises, promises.

You can’t really believe oil is just dead plant and animal matter placed under pressure and time. Abiogenic oil production might be a thing, but that would upend all the “peak oil” arguments. Simply because we tapped out certain areas, does not mean there aren’t others as well.

Speaking of security details throwing out their clients. Where in the heck do they find people to guard these slime balls? Take the secret service, they must either be magically brainwashed or they are terrified of the real people in charge. Even then given the size of the security apparatus it’s amazing there aren’t more coups or at least leaks. Its amazing to me.
