2011 Vancouver Stanley Cup Riot
On the evening of June 15, 2011 in the downtown core of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, a riot broke out almost immediately after the conclusion of the Boston Bruins' victory over the Vancouver Canucks in game seven of the Finals of the National Hockey League to win the Stanley Cup.
Nearly 150 people were injured during the incident, including four by stabbing. On the night of the riot, nearly 100 arrests were made by the Vancouver police, including 85 for breach of peace, 8 for public intoxication and 8 for criminal code offenses such as assault and theft.
In 2015, four years after the riot, police completed their investigation and recommended final charges against 2 suspects, bringing the total to 887 charges against 301 people. The riot did an estimated $4 million in damage with an extra $5 million being spent on additional staffing costs for prosecuting the rioters.
All this over losing an ice hockey match.
Imagine what this looks like when civilization collapses and 8+ billion are on the dark, cold streets, pissed off because Tik Tok is offline, and they are starving.
We will rage, murder, rape, and tear each other to pieces and eat the body parts.
It will be worse for those who have hoarded food. You will be a target.

The Fed rapidly raised rates last year to combat raging inflation. That helped for a short time but now inflation is lifting off again. The bond market does not like the look of this and is demanding rates that exceed the anticipated rate of inflation which is why mortgage rates and rates on other long term debt instruments are not falling. In fact they are headed north as well.
The Fed may be forced to increase rates to prevent hyperinflation however record debt loads in the public, private and commercial sectors would threaten to drive the economy into an inescapable recession.
Surely reducing rates is completely off the table now unless we see a dramatic downturn in the economy.
At the end of the day we are running out of affordable energy. This drives inflation. Finding oil on the moon would not help. The only way out of this is collapse.

And the best thing is that these rioters performed in front of hundreds of cameras... and were later identified... and jailed.
hahaha... fucking DUMB MORONS
When they come, they'll come armed. They'll know where you are from your lights or smoke or smell of cooking, but you won't know where they are. Not until they are very close.
Then, well, that really depends what mood they're in and what kind of attitude you have. You're going to end up dead, but that could take quite some time on a bad day.
