The GOP passage of $9.4 billion of DOGE cuts is nothing more than a PR stunt to convince the ignorant masses they are actually doing something about the deficit. The dopes making bets on Draft Kings and posting videos on Instagram have no concept about how ridiculously out of control our government has become. They add $6 billion to the national debt every single day, so their $9.4 of “cuts” will be gone in 37 hours. Our deficits are big, but they are not beautiful. Our deficit in FY24 was $1.8 trillion. Through the first 7 months of FY25 the deficit is $1.049 trillion. At the current rate of spending, the deficit will be $2.2 trillion by the end of the fiscal year.
Interest on the national debt is now the second biggest expenditure and has gone from $500 billion during Trump’s first term to $1.3 trillion today. These deficits are clearly unsustainable, and anything which is unsustainable will not be sustained. But the corrupt, captured politicians and insatiably avaricious Wall Street bankers will keep dancing until the music stops. Then they will use their next engineered financial crisis to take more of our money and further restrict our liberties and freedom. CBDCs and social credit scores anyone?
The real reason Trump and the GOP need to pass the big beautiful, bloated pig of a bill is because our Ponzi scheme economy depends upon the never-ending issuance of trillions in debt every year to give the fabricated appearance of stability. This is why the GOP applauds Musk’s low hanging fruit DOGE cost savings and ignores them in their outrageously corpulent budget bill. The truth is any actual reduction in government spending (36% of GDP) would ripple through an economy entirely dependent upon government largess and immediately create a massive recession and probable depression.
Ponzi schemes have to keep growing until they run out of suckers believing the bullshit underlying the Ponzi. This is where those controlling the levers of society (Bernays’ invisible government) utilize their limitless well of propaganda techniques, technological distractions, and mindless entertainment venues to keep the ignorant masses amused, delusional, and living in denial of the reality staring them in the face.
Since the 2008 financial crisis we have been muddling through economically at a 10,000 feet macro level, with periodic crisis episodes (housing collapse, fake pandemic) utilized by the powers that be to issue trillions more debt as the antidote to the initial crisis created by too much debt. At a micro level, the average American has seen a significant decline in their standard of living, as official government reported inflation has eroded 40% of their purchasing power, when in reality they have lost more than 60% of their purchasing power. The reality for the average American prole is debt slavery, either self-imposed to keep up with the Joneses or forced upon them to survive this globalist-imposed death by a thousand cuts economy.
Credit card debt of $1.3 trillion is at an all-time high, up $350 billion (35%) since 2020. The average balance on those credit cards is over $7,000 and the average interest rate on those unpaid balances is over 21%. Student loan debt of $1.8 trillion is at an all-time high, up $100 billion since 2020, with over 25% of these loans in default. Auto loan debt of $1.7 trillion is at an all-time high, up $350 billion (27%) since 2020. The average length of these loans is now 70 months. The borrower is underwater by the fifth year of these loans. Shockingly, credit card and auto loan delinquencies have been soaring in the last year, with credit card delinquencies above 3% for the first time since 2012, and auto loan delinquencies surpassed 8% for the first time since 2010. Does that sound like a consumer on solid ground?
In addition, the housing market is a disaster looking for a trigger. The Wall Street hedge funds (Blackrock) bought up millions of homes, driving prices 140% (Case Siller Index) higher than the 2012 low, while outstanding mortgage debt has risen from the 2012 low of $13 trillion to $21 trillion today. Prices are ridiculously high and mortgage rates of 7% make it virtually impossible for an average working stiff to buy even a small home. The market is frozen.
This is why Trump and his GOP minions must avoid a recession at all costs by continuing to rack up $2 trillion annual deficits. A recession would result in millions of layoffs, which would mean unpaid mortgages, which would mean foreclosures and slashing of home prices, which would trigger housing collapse 2.0, which would turn the recession into a depression, causing a stock market collapse. Now you know why they are desperate to pass this big, beautiful behemoth of bilge.
The Fed is in a precarious position of their own making, with all choices pointing towards disastrous outcomes. They are already sitting on over $1 trillion of unrealized bond losses, while their Wall Street owners sit on another $400 billion of unrealized bond losses. If these entities ever have to realize those losses, our entire banking system would collapse. The Fed has cut rates by 1%, but market rates went up, as their power to mislead market players diminishes.
They have reduced their balance sheet from $9 trillion to $6.7 trillion. The last time they tried to reduce their balance sheet in 2019, the repo market spasmed and they used the Covid cover to drastically print more fiat. Trump is mocking Powell and demanding interest rate cuts. Powell is pretending to be independent, but he is praying for some kind of crisis to again set the printing presses to hyper-speed. I’m sure the ruling oligarchs are hatching a new crisis to expand their wealth, power, and control, while further impoverishing and enslaving the plebs.
I've had a superiority complex since 2008 (GFC) when I really started putting the pieces together... it exploded higher with the Covid Death Shots when I realized almost everyone is a moron... the fake Trump shooting and the anti vaxxers embracing this bullshit made me realize that most of the a vaxx crowd are also morons (many also believe the vaxx is about chipping)...
Thanks for your response Eddy. Covid was a huge wake-up call for me too. It's like I woke up in an insane asylum. Mostly a nightmare though occasionally amusing...in a laugh or cry kind of way.
I thought of the Amish. Without fossil fuels, their average life expectancy would be 35, just like before the Industrial Revolution. They are just doing pathetic role playing, but many preppers look up to them as role models.
I spoke to an Amish farmer some years ago - he told me that they don't farm organically - they need bank loans to buy land for their children - no spray no mortgage... if you lose an organic crop the bank doesn't get paid ... so those is the rules
You might take a closer look at geneology. People (in the west) have been living into their 70's, 80's and beyond for centuries. A major factor reducing the average life expectancy was extensive infant and childhood mortality prior to the last 100-150 years. Almost everyone in my prior 12 generations lost several infants or small children, but many of the adults lived to relatively old age. War and accidents also took their toll.
There will come a tipping point, but when, that’s just a matter of timing. There are many predicting this collapse but few dare to say what it could look like. Kurt Dahl is one such with his book “An American Famine - (sub title) A Rosetta Stone for the coming collapse”. The story opens with a quote from Thomas Hobbes “ Hell is the truth seen too late”. It’s unlike like the usual horror/apocalyptic novels, the likes of Stephen King’s “The Stand” or Cormac McCarthy’s “The Road” or the film series “Mad Max: Fury Road”.
Without wishing to spoil Kurt Dahl’s story. What happens when the lights go out, trucks stop running, the grocery stores and food section of supermarkets are emptied, freezers have thawed, the gasoline service station pumps don’t work, or out of fuel, no water appears when you turn on the faucet (tap) or flush the toilet, sewage backs up, there’s no electricity or gas to cook or keep warm. When life becomes a matter of survival, what happens to loved ones, Gran, Grandad, and you can’t get there to visit, what happens to hospitals when hospital staff and prisons, when prison guards can’t get to work or find food, what happens to farmers and survival smallholders when the marauders start to arrive. Do the meek and innocent inherit the earth, or the most beastly, or does no one ultimately survive in a situation like this🤔
The Road is probably the closest depiction -- although it skips the really nasty part where 8B die from starvation after ripping each other to pieces and gnawing on the bones https://fasteddynz.substack.com/p/collapse-and-cannibalism
Anyone who desires to survive that nightmare should read The Road (not the movie)... take note that the mother commits suicide... and that the ending is a fairy tale...
4000+ spent fuel ponds guarantee cancer as the actual ending for survivors
Not sure you’ve read Kurt Dahl’s “An American Famine” (AAF) Fast Eddy, my guess is you haven’t. All the books I’ve quoted, I’ve read, and seen the film. Compared to AFF they are fairly stories but you’d have to read AAF to know why. Out of Stephen King’s “The Stand”, Cormac McCarthy’s “The Road” and the film series “Mad Max: Fury Road”, I’d rate Stephen King’s “The Stand” the most grim. But there is another book probably father to them all: George R. Stewart’s “Earth Abides”, it’s worth a read if only to give some perspective into how long things take to change and in that respect there’s John Micheal Greer’s “Collapse Now and Avoid the Rush” series of books. We’re living in a time now of 8 Billion humans and climbing, with a whole lot of pollution, if Jack Alpert’s prediction of Earth only supporting 600 Million, check out “Medium - Eric Lee - Running Out of Gas Story”. Pollution from spent nuclear waste or otherwise will be just one more of humanity’s future predicaments🤔
1. Use no electricity - why? I do have solar panels
2. No petrol or gas - why? I have around 500 liters of both gasoline and diesel which should last me for many years considering the needs I have
3. Buy nothing - can do
4. Eat only what you grow - why? Stored food is precisely to be used for the first months/years of the collapse, until you are able to produce everything you need.
5. No medicines - I don't do poison
6. Wood for one year- already have it. Cut and stored.
7. Wash your clothes by hand - this indeed might be a deal breaker with the wife but I think after some complaining, she will manage. Remember those solar panels? Most of the time she wont have to do it by hand.
Looks like I would manage fine a complete collapse. But this is about the chip not about petrol running out.
You eat what you grow because that's all you will have at some point. This is a dry run for that.
I had a solar pump when I was in my stupid phase. The circuit board blew on the invertor - 6 months after the install... $1000 buck part to get a new board -- won't be no spare parts for your solar - and it will break. Again dry run for when that happens
Wood runs out. Try cutting a winter supply by hand.
All of what you have posted is shit... wash your fucking clothes by hand. Chop the wood by hand... do all of what I said otherwise your post is worthless garbage...
And remember - there are plenty of fellas out there who have hunting rifles and can take down a deer at 1km... I can take one down at 500m... what do you do about that?
I eat what I grow and what I've stored as that is the real scenario when a oilpocslypse happens.
Solar pump? You must be a total retard. No news here though. Mine runs by hand as I am not that stupid to relly on tech for basic needs such as water.
Why cut a wood supply by hand when I have diesel? According to my calculations it should last me at least 10 years for wood cutting purposes. First year you use the wood stored that you already have. Second year you cut 90% using a diesel powered chopper and 10% by hand and so on. Until you end up cutting everything by hand if need arises.
I thought your dry run scenario doesn't involve hunting rifles and cancer. I guess you want to up the antes as I proved that for a real preper your simulation is a walk in the park. Let them come though. We have plenty of guns of our own. They will be spotted and dealt with long before they come close.
Cancer... Everyone dies in the end eddy. And most go to meet their god, satan. I would be worried about that more than about anything else.
But I am not prepping for this oilpocalyose bullshit. I am prepping for when the chip will be introduced and you won't be allowed to buy or sell without it. Hopefully most of the idiots will resist that fighting the aberration while I will enjoy a relatively peaceful life. And if the government or the military comes so be it. They can have my life but never my soul.
Nope. For the current job that gave me the income that allowed me to properly prep I still need the internet. But the internet won't go down eddy. The chip needs it.
Now this is odd... I was going to initiate an article re how Google does not display my article with this search.... Vaccines are Population Control Fast Eddy Substack... so I did another search ...
Only the paranoid survive... I am thinking the discussion from the other day was monitored... and the censor uncensored the article... cuz as far as I know that ws the only article I have ever written (I search multiple others) that was censored...
A puff of smoke from the chimney = food ... and the flies will come to the shit
Got neighbours? Got family that knows where you are? Cuz family is gonna come when there is no food -- begging you to share... you gonna shoot your family and your neighbours Joe?
BTW - the cancer will arrive quite quickly ... toxic shit travels fast in the wind
I survived cernobyl which was quite close. I don't care about your toxic nuclear waste fantasies.
My family will be with me and my neighbours are prepping as well. No one is stupid enough to imagine they can't prep kn their own. Well, maybe you were.
As for the chimney smoke, they still have to travel quite far to spot it. There's plenty of fog in winter as well. I am not that worried. A smart man with a gun and who can shoot far away will be smart enough to stop at some point way closer to where he lives than where my village is located.
Take the Challenge and report back in a month otherwise fuck off and die - I've listened to hundreds of idiots like you who insist it won't be a problem - yet they refuse to take the Challenge
I got interested in traditional kayak construction. A primary goal was to make my own fishing/water transport craft with hand tools, no electric, no fancy chemicals. It was mostly doable. The only cheat was the skin which was a woven fabric. I imagine in troubled times game wardens would not be enforcing hunting laws. But I imagine in post- collapse environment, scavenging industrial Detritus might be a thing.
I wrote a book about my project, The Aleutian Kayak. Available second hand.
Except for the lone seaman, I think none of us is able to do this anymore. Your list is absolutely right. Until 100 years ago, everyone lived like that, or close. When I was a kid mom and grandma still did the laundry by hand, albeit with the help of a gas stove. Grandma still had the washing machine that had a wood burner under it. Someone advized me to buy one of these sun operated stoves, they cost 750 $, but the 4 days after the storm, without power, there was no sun. Does this apparatus work without sun? I don't think so. Indeed, the doomsday people have sterilized food for a few months, and then? And all these in bunkers - same thing.
I'll take your challenge FE. I have lived for months without resorting to any Global Civ. Yachts offer the ideal survival package, but many fear the sea, so it's not an option for most. But for us seafarers we are well away from your Barnyard Animals. https://theseagypsyphilosopher.blogspot.com/
What did you eat? Take any meds? Use any petrol for small motor entering port? Water purifier? Did you have solar power? Did you take any meds? Did you buy anything in port? Did you use electronic nav or radio comms?
We eat fish! No meds, Big Pharma is poison. No motor, solar yes, and trailed recharger and wind gen. Water comes from the sky. Nothing in port, scavenged on nearby islands. No electronics, DR and Sextant. Radio is SW. The Sea Gypsy has it in one.
What will happen to your body if you only eat protein?
A diet filled entirely with protein can lead to nutrient deficiencies, kidney strain, and a condition called ``rabbit starvation,'' where the body lacks enough fat and carbs for energy, causing fatigue, nausea, and other health issues.
Opps - chandlery (correction, it posted prematurely). ..visits on occasion of need can be made subject to local conditions but not in extremis, when innovation is called for.
Short of disasters, spares are only needed occasionally and the rule is always to have two back-ups because with only one, once it's used, there is no back-up. Visits to chandelary
Well then what do you care about surviving the collapse? Your life is already over.... and you want to imprison yourself on a boat for the remaining days?
Sounds like a lot of fun! Just swallow the fentanyl.
Ha ha FE - I guess you have never lived on a yacht - your perception is misplaced, prison is a far removed from sailing as I can think - it's freedom write large.
And what about the spent fuel ponds? Once they unleash that toxic shit will spread far and wide... and it persists for thousands of years...
Cancer rates spiked around eastern Europe after Chernobyl... and that was only a reactor - and it was entombed after a few weeks.
Spend fuel ponds are different animals --- and they will spew for years... this shit will be in the trade winds... in the water... in the fish ... basically forever
Not smart enough to grab some guns? Or jump into a boat? You know, some, unlike you, are not quite complete retards. I wonder what they are going to eat while playing Jack sparrow.
It won't be me trying to catch a guy in a boat by swinging a machete together with some other idiots. You still haven't enlightened me on what your diet would be and how long your pirates will survive on the shore.
Sailboats have many moving parts and are constantly exposed to the elements, making them prone to a variety of failures. Common issues include lines, sails, rigging, and mechanical systems.
Here's a more detailed look at what can break:
Rigging & Lines:
Halyards and sheets: These lines are prone to chafe and breakage, especially around blocks and fairleads.
Rigging: Corrosion and fatigue can lead to cracks in wires, shrouds, and other rigging components.
Blocks: They can jam or wear out, especially if not properly maintained and oiled.
Preventers and furling lines: Overloading or chafe can cause these to fail.
Steering cables: These can stretch or jump off the steering drum.
Hydraulic steering: Hoses and rams can leak or fail, potentially leading to complete steering failure.
Sails:
Chafe: Sails can chafe against the mast, shrouds, or other parts of the boat.
UV degradation: Sun exposure can weaken sail fabric, especially in thinner sails like spinnakers and genoas.
Rips and tears: Sails can be torn by strong winds or by improper handling.
Mechanical Systems:
Engine: Coolant systems, pumps, and other engine components can fail, causing cooling issues or engine breakdowns.
Electrical systems: Batteries, wiring, and other electrical components can wear out or fail.
Plumbing: Pumps, hoses, and other plumbing components can leak or fail.
Water tanks: These can leak or crack, especially in older boats.
Other Issues:
Hull: Damage from collisions with debris or at docks can weaken the hull.
Deck: Leaking deck hardware or deterioration of the deck surface can lead to water intrusion.
Hardware: Blocks, cleats, and other deck hardware can corrode or break.
Interior: Flooring, furniture, and other interior components can deteriorate or break.
Electronics: Navigation instruments, autopilots, and other electronic systems can fail.
Preventing Breakages:
Regular maintenance: Inspect and maintain all equipment regularly.
Proper handling: Use sails and lines properly and avoid overloading them.
Protect from chafe: Use chafing gear and fairleads to protect lines and sails.
Store sails properly: Keep sails out of the sun and wind when not in use.
Have spare parts: Carry spare lines, blocks, and other essential parts.
Know your boat: Understand how your boat's systems work and how to troubleshoot problems.
Seek professional help: Don't hesitate to consult a professional for repairs or maintenance.

I didn't ask anyone to tell me they could survive the Fast Eddy Challenge... all DUMBsDAY Preppers believe that ...
Take the challenge... shut down the internet and do everything on the list... including chopping the wood by hand and washing clothes in the creek...
Off you go now... we'll hear from you in a month
Nope. For the current job that gave me the income that allowed me to properly prep I still need the internet. But the internet won't go down eddy. The chip needs it.
I'm guessing other folks will want a share of everything on your list. How nice of you to put it all together for them in one place.
Now this is odd... I was going to initiate an article re how Google does not display my article with this search.... Vaccines are Population Control Fast Eddy Substack... so I did another search ...
https://www.google.com/search?q=Vaccines+are+Population+Control+Fast+Eddy+Substack&oq=Vaccines+are+Population+Control+Fast+Eddy+Substack&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIGCAEQRRg80gEINjc3NmowajeoAgiwAgHxBTvhrYbfPRVX&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
And now it does display....
Only the paranoid survive... I am thinking the discussion from the other day was monitored... and the censor uncensored the article... cuz as far as I know that ws the only article I have ever written (I search multiple others) that was censored...
Can't give the censored evidence of the censorship ... especially when it comes to a highly sensitive topic like https://fasteddynz.substack.com/p/vaccines-are-population-control/
When Hoolio had the shits ... he would shit out back of the house ... the flies would arrive within seconds...
It will be the same for the preppers
Good luck finding me and my neighbours who also prep. You see, only idiots prep in the vicinity of large cities or towns.
Duh.
The only idiots here are you and the ukish clown that keeps attacking me everytime I correct your stupidities.
Merry Christmas Fukusanta

I got interested in traditional kayak construction. A primary goal was to make my own fishing/water transport craft with hand tools, no electric, no fancy chemicals. It was mostly doable. The only cheat was the skin which was a woven fabric. I imagine in troubled times game wardens would not be enforcing hunting laws. But I imagine in post- collapse environment, scavenging industrial Detritus might be a thing.
I wrote a book about my project, The Aleutian Kayak. Available second hand.
Having rolls and rolls of plastic sheet buys so much including waterproofing. Everything is about water proofing in the North and near a coast.
Even Dick Proenneke cheated in this one regard. He used it for his roof.
As I have posted if one eats only fish (protein) one will die
Also sail boats break. Then what?
Liar. Humans die if all they eat is protein.
What will happen to your body if you only eat protein?
A diet filled entirely with protein can lead to nutrient deficiencies, kidney strain, and a condition called ``rabbit starvation,'' where the body lacks enough fat and carbs for energy, causing fatigue, nausea, and other health issues.
https://www.healthline.com/health/protein-poisoning
All true FE, but I didn't mean ALL THE TIME. We can drop into remote islands (there are thousands) for a mixed and healthy diet.
How do you get spare parts for the boat?
What do you do about spent fuel pond cancer?
Opps - chandlery (correction, it posted prematurely). ..visits on occasion of need can be made subject to local conditions but not in extremis, when innovation is called for.
Short of disasters, spares are only needed occasionally and the rule is always to have two back-ups because with only one, once it's used, there is no back-up. Visits to chandelary
you can't live on a boat forever. They'll be waiting for you onshore, machetes glinting in the sun.
It will be long enough for me - I'm 80.
You did it for months - not forever...
Agreed FE. let's hope and pray that they don't do it as the outcome is as you predict.
Not smart enough to grab some guns? Or jump into a boat? You know, some, unlike you, are not quite complete retards. I wonder what they are going to eat while playing Jack sparrow.
Like what am I going to do with a boat? I wouldn't have a clue. Nobody has boats.
A floating prison cell. Awesome!
I don't doubt that.
Lack of specific boat knowedge has oddly never been an actual problem for me.
It won't be me trying to catch a guy in a boat by swinging a machete together with some other idiots. You still haven't enlightened me on what your diet would be and how long your pirates will survive on the shore.
Bollocks. You need to DO IT before you comment.
Just saying.
Say all you like WN, JUST DO IT FIRST
I don't have a boat.
All boats need repairs... and servicing ...
