Option 1: introduce a Culling Lottery. When you reach 70 years of age, provided you are relatively healthy, you receive a lottery ticket. One of out ten is a winner. The losers are put down.

Option 2: introduce mass vaccination, make sugar ubiquitous in food products, and encourage the consumption of processed foods ensuring that most people do not live much past 70.

Why do we not want a population that is top heavy with elderly citizens?

This would be a disaster because a high proportion of our limited resources would need to be allocated to supporting the elderly, and they contribute nothing.

Resources that could be used to operate good schools, hospitals, infrastructure and so on, would instead go to medical care, free bus passes, old age homes, pensions and other support for the huge army of geriatrics.
