Gaslighting on Energy Intensifies

Desperate to distract the barnyard animals from the truth

The Ministry of Truth is working the barnyard animals hard as affordable energy crashes deeper into depletion.

Generally if I post an energy depletion article in the comments of many platforms the ‘oil is abiotic’ trolls quickly pounce and insist that oil fields refill. When I respond by listing oil fields that did not refill and were abandoned there is radio silence. When I ask why we steam oil out of sand instead of re-tapping the abiotic oil I get nothing.

The renewable energy fable is getting long in the tooth as the barnyard animals are beginning to suspect oil cannot be replaced by solar panels (see Germany). They have no idea what to make of The Three Pillars of Bullshit because they are really fucking stupid and they do not want the truth.

The Ministry has now pivoted and is feeding the barnyard animals nuclear nonsense. The reason nuclear is a non-starter is that we are running out of affordable uranium and have been recycling nuclear war heads to keep the power on. That is a tale that never gets told by bbccnn.

But wait, who needs uranium when we can recycle spent fuel in mini-reactors - yes soon enough you will have a mini reactor in your basement providing unlimited cheap power! But in the meantime Google, Facebook and Bitcoin get first dibs on this can’t miss tech.

What a great opportunity to regurgitate the thorium reactor garbage. In 2030 something we can expect a fully-functioning, safe reactor that is commercially viable. Just like George Bush promised we’d have a man on the moon by 2020. Now that would be a first!

In New Zealand the barnyard animals are really pissed off because they have been told the government banned oil and gas exploration.

What has changed is that all the extra drilling hasn't turned up much extra gas in the past few years. This is despite record amounts spent on new wells - nearly $1.3 billion between 2020 and 2024. Energy companies now think there's less gas than previously thought.

On 8 July, the body representing oil and gas producers, Energy Resources Aotearoa, wrote to Energy Minister Simeon Brown saying the industry was unlikely to invest in exploring for new gas without "government support to help manage risk".

It said the government should consider whether the taxpayer should take on "part (or all) of the risk if natural gas should not be produced" by exploration efforts. More

Interpretation: there is no more oil and gas to be found in NZ therefore they are fucked.

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Friday criticised the British government's energy policy with a demand the country "open up" the ageing North Sea oil and gas basin and get rid of wind farms.

The North Sea is one of the world's oldest offshore oil and gas basins where production has steadily declined since the start of the millennium.

"The U.K. is making a very big mistake. Open up the North Sea. Get rid of Windmills!" Trump said in a post on his social media platform Truth Social. More

The UK has the same disease as New Zealand - there is no more affordable oil and gas to be found. Since the Fed is burning through a cool trillion dollars every 100 days without any serious repercussions, why not run the presses a little harder and pay oil and gas companies to look for resources that do no exist? Surely it’s just a matter of spending harder.

Expect more gaslighting of this nature in 2025. It is crucial that the barnyard animals do not fall into deep despair because that would collapse the global economy before UEP completes.
