It's interesting how this plague has developed. When I was at school in the 60s & 70s, there'd be one or two "bloaters" in the whole school. These characters were likely unfortunate folk with metabolic disorders of some sort, because we all got plenty of exercise then. The only "fast food" available was fish & chips. It was only in the 80s that fast food chain outlets appeared in nearly every town. Even so, chronic obesity was still rare. The real up-tick seemed to occur after computers & smartphones became ubiquitous. I remember visiting a colleague around 2000-1, whose teenage son had his mates round with their computers for a "LAN party". I thought they must be a very unusual collection of nerds! With the explosion of internet availability and "smarter" smartphones, this trend has seen explosive growth, capturing wider numbers of "normies". It seems to be perfectly acceptable for young folk to spend a whole weekend immersed in multi-player virtual worlds, only pausing for another gutful of junk food and fizzy crap. We used to walk miles to school and keep the bus fare as spending money. Most of us had pushbikes and would cycle anywhere too far to walk. I am horrified to see "the school run" become a normal thing, with roads clogged by oversized vehicles, driven by oversized parents dropping their darling bloaters at the school gates. The country has gone to the dogs, placed its bets and spent its winnings on burgers and fizzy crap.
I talked to an old timer at a bar few years ago he said his grand daughters school had "McDonalds and Taco Bell" available for lunch in the cafeteria. He was just livid and disgusted about it.
I did a stint teaching in a high school back in the day... at a staff meeting I questioned why loads of junk food was being sold in the cafeteria... a Big Fucking Fat Slob shot back - if we don't sell it they will go into town and get it...
To which I responded... then we should add cocaine to the menu...

Each and every one of those counterparts is star-spangled bulky, and that certainly seems to be the "New Normal" <snicker>. So much subcutaneous fatty layer and swollen organs to haul around. I am naturally resentful that I am forced to pay the same fare for my air ticket as they do, as I maintain 64.5kg. I'd say go back to the 1930s custom of having airline passengers step onto an industrial-scale scales, with all their baggage; the indicated weight would be indexed to what they pay to fly. It is already happening with some of the small Polynesian airlines, as those blubberguts fill up the interior quickly.
As for the death injections, I recommend reading The Spectator Australia article entitled: "Covid karma’s gonna get ya - Is demonising the unvaccinated a health hazard?"
