Interesting SS articles regarding insurance and begins to ask the questions if we are reaching the point where insurance may be out of reach for most. What will that do to home and car purchases when the banks need protection on their loans? Will people walk away and let the banks get stuck with the loans? Surely, many celebrities who lost their homes and had their insurance cancelled must be thinking why not walk away?

More signs the system is collapsing if the LA fires and the response from the government weren't enough to set off alarm bells. No pun intended.

Excellent details and yes stimulus that is 3% of GDP not 13% is a very big difference! No matter what its kick the can and the money will most likely be offshored and diverted anyhow. The stronger US Dollar can't be good for anyone...

This can all get summed up quite easily. China has made the same stupid mistakes that every western nation has made. They learned well from the US. Their fiscal, monetary and banking policies pretty much mirrored the US. While the US was printing money during 2009 to keep the world afloat, China was doing the same only worse to fund its Ghost factories, cities and bridges to nowhere.

China fell for the infinite growth on a finite planet. Now China has all kinds of infrastructure that is decaying because no one is using it or buying and China is known to tear shit down and build more of the same to give the illusion of growth and prosperity.

If i'm not mistaken, China also has a predicament like Japan with an aging population. Those in that age group don't tend to stimulate the economy because they are past the age of starting a family and buying family stuff.

This all goes back to oil and they burning it to give the facade they are growing. It goes to show the "stupidity of humans". Just paint yourself into a corner of a room with no way out. We need a "Global Nuke Party".

Yes but imagine where we would be if the US did not inflate multiple bubbles fending off de-growth (and collapse):

Expensive oil and its impact on other energy costs remains a concern.

The current level of U.S. monetary stimulus is massive. Real interest rates have fallen 5.2 percent from December 2000 to March 2003, reaching -1.2 percent. A swing of this magnitude may be historical. https://fasteddynz.substack.com/p/why

They passed the baton to China who took this to another level.

Maybe they determined TINA? There is no alternative....

If they had not stimulated big time I suspect the world would have ended not longer after the turn of the century... perhaps even earlier.

I noticed this comment coming out of DelusiSTAN aka The Land of Norm and Keith ...

https://www.ineos.com/news/ineos-group/chemicals-coming-to-an-end-in-the-uk/

That is a big fat canary in the coal mine.... we need to keep in mind that this disease is afflicting all of Europe... we are also seeing de-industrializing in NZ....

I wonder if Mr DNA is seeing any of this and if he is starting to panic... so far I am not seeing any signs of this from NZ... they no doubt believe 'they' will fix the problem...

Steel, petrochemicals, aluminium smelters, car and truck tyre plants, car parts plants, battery plants, car plants. It's all collapsing in Europe.

As for Mr DNA, people are too brainwashed and stupid to understand that without any industries we can't afford to import anything and we die.

Life in the UK today:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cgly9z4z62do

Patients are dying in corridors and pregnant women are miscarrying in side rooms as overwhelmed hospitals struggle to cope, nurses say.

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) said evidence provided by more than 5,000 of its members across the UK this winter also showed cupboards, car parks, bathrooms and nursing stations were being turned into makeshift areas for patients.

A few thoughts on this....

This is partially caused by the MORONS who injected the experiment.... as we have seen the injuries are astronomical... so they are clogging up the medical system as they seek help for their heart problems, blood clots, etc etc etc (I think the Pfizer doc indicated there were 1900+ different types of adverse side effects from their Death Shot).

So thanks for that VAXXER MORONS.

But nearly equally to blame are the pieces of shit who cram Doritos and toxic Twinkies down their gaping maws... followed by a gallon or two of high fructose soda... then lay on the sofa watching Reality Tee Vee....

This will also end badly ... Eventually these retards end up at the Emerge.... seeking salvation in the form of a pill ... they will get their Ozempic but that ain't no solution for Stupidity.

Finally.... I must admit a bit of SCHAD... I have spent a fair bit of time in the poverty stricken areas of the world... haiti... indonesia... philippines... egypt... etc... and I know that most westerners (especially Brits) firmly believe these poor people are inferior - that is why they are poor.

Thus I cannot help but feel a bit of pleasure knowing these same pieces of shit... get a big fat dollop of third world living ... before this shit show sinks to the bottom.

Withnail's avatar

Perhaps. I think the NHS is just inadequate and overloaded to be honest.

We don't have Twinkies here as it happens. A temporary solution could be mass euthanasia for anyone who wants it, but then how do we safely dispose of all the bodies with energy prices the way they are.

This is all about getting laid.

Women, quite naturally, want to have sex with a man who can provide for them.

That means men have to get a job in order to get laid.

If you get a good job your choice of sexual partner increases exponentially.

To get a good job, like a doctor, you have to know stuff, so you learn what your culture dictates is necessary. But at that point, age 25, you must never learn anything at all that threatens your carefully constructed sense of self.

Ever wondered why doctors always marry doctors? So their little world's are always reflected back to them and their echo chamber of a life is secure. Doctors are a good example because, for some reason, a lot of people take them seriously.

And there in a nut shell is why everyone knows that oil is abiotic, and we can never run out.

Personally I never trust anyone who has a mortgage to pay off.

When I say "naturally" I'm of course talking about that vast span of human history before 1776 and James Watt and his steam engine. For the past 250years cheap energy means women don't need men at all as almost all work can now be done by women and of course they have taken full advantage of the fact and as a consequence divorce rates have gone through the roof.

Looks to me as though men are going to come back into fashion in the near future as more and more work will have to be carried out by human muscle power.

we can never run out. this is technically true. we can only be rate-limited by energy density availability. too deep to dig the rest, lost of partial pressure/extraction rate energy cost of energy rising too much/requirements of stronger alloys/diminishing returns/etc. its virtually infinite relative to biomass of humans but is inaccessible and too low energy on return (surplus). technically it is finite w/ geological processes being rate-limited but if you can control the fluxes of energy, you have a fixed finite quantity of usable energy indefinitely

I have never joined a group principally because all groups are no more than echo chambers. And so I have had enormous trouble with words like "we".

Do you mean we as in the American empire will never run out?

2025 marks the 50th year of my retirement as back in the mid 1970s it looked like Humpty Dumpty would fall off the wall around 2010 and that by now "we" would all be eating each other. So I created a very long bucket list for myself and have been at an extraordinary, one off, fossil fuelled party.

Now however it is obvious that the good folk running things have realised that the kind, compassionate , thing to do is to euthanize most people by way of safe and effective vaccines. It is said a heart attack is a quick painless way to go, no?

Yes of course when the population is back down to a few million there will be resources for all. I very much hope you didn't take the shot.

Chris Martenson over at peakprosperity.com has extensive articles with data to prove that food companies are poisoning people with banned chemicals like glyphosate and food additives like red dye 40 and many if not all of these chemicals are banned outside the USA for food consumption. This all plays into the new customers for the pharmaceutical companies. It is a racket and I know first hand as my primary care doctor was trying to convince me I should take psychotropic drugs.

Many don't know this but the soda, Mountain Dew includes a flame retardant. This is one of the reasons why we have sick and obese kids in the US because of all the crap, food companies put in our foods. Fluoride serves little benefit and the US Gov't is now looking into removing it from the US water supply.

Why would they want to stop the slow poisoning? That would result in a very bad outcome https://fasteddynz.substack.com/p/vaccines-are-population-control
